Live: Slough Town v Torquay United

FT: Slough Town 1, Torquay United 2

90: Late pressure from Slough who force a couple of corners. Halstead claims well though.

90: Seven minutes to be added on here. A good chance for the home side in the first of those with Halstead getting out well to block at the feet of Josh Jackman after Goddard's cross had been knocked down. 1-2

88: Unfortunately for the hosts, having played superbly in the first half and for much of the second, they now look a bit aimless in attack. All fairly comfortable for the visitors.

85: The rain is starting to come down fairly heavily again at Arbour Park. Not quite the deluge they've had across the capital but still fairly hard. We should have a chunky amount of stoppage time for the Rebels to attack. 1-2

84: Game stopped after a clash of heads between Eweka and Jarvis as the Gulls looked for a third. The visiting striker looks to have a cut which is being treated. 1-2

78: It feels like the visitors got to grips with the Rebels tactic of playing long early balls which turned their defence in the first half. If so, fair play to their management and coaching team. They look to have a much better grip on the game now. 1-2

75: The Rebels see another shot deflected wide. They've been a tad unfortunate in the second half today and trail 2-1 with 13 minutes plus stoppage time to play.

74: Torquay fans won't care a jot but you have to feel for Slough here. They've given so much to this game only to find themselves behind. They'll keep pushing in the final stages you feel. In fairness to Torquay they've been so much better after the break.

Also a couple of changes for Slough for the final 15 minutes or so.

71: Goal Torquay. Another goal out of nothing and it's Brad Ash again, nipping in to put the visitors in front. 1-2

68: Great to see Slough having a real go at Torquay today. They've shown no fear at all and continue to throw bodies forward despite being pegged back by Ash's strike. This really could be anyone's game. 1-1

64: The Gulls very nearly get in again as the lively Ash spins his man and goes through on Luthra's goal, but Eweka gets back to make a magnificent sliding challenge. Open game now. Slough still very much in this and are pressing again but Torquay also look like scoring. Finely poised. 1-1

60: Understandably, the Rebels have been rocked by that equaliser and the Gulls are enjoying a spell of pressure. 1-1

59; Goal for Torquay. The visitors are level as Brad Ash fires across Luthra to make it 1-1. The goal came out of nothing and is a bit harsh on Slough who've had most of the game.

52: It's a bit more even and end to end so far this half. Torquay whip the ball across the face of goal but no one can get a touch on it. Then Stobbs tries to bend one into the top corner with the outside of his foot, but he doesn't catch the ball quite right. Much better from the visitors though after they barely tested the Slough goal in the first half. 1-0.

Back underway at Arbour Park. Torquay looking more threatening in the opening stages. But a good run from Stobbs is well blocked by Davies. Excellent defending. Slough then break and create another opportunity. 1-0

45: The half ends with a fabulous volley from Jackman but Halstead gets across to save well. 1-0 at the break and it's fully deserved. Should be at least two or three nil on the balance of play. Gulls somewhat flattered by the scoreline. Nathan Minhas' great volley the difference between the sides.

41:另一个错误从托基提出了繁荣with the chance to run through on the Gulls area. He lines up for a strike but his attempt is fairly weak and Halstead saves comfortably. 1-0

38: Slough have turned the Gulls defence so many times this half with early balls over the top. It worked against Weston so, if it aint broke, why fix it? 1-0

36: Torquay defence once again at sixes and sevens. This time Josh Jackman sees an effort tipped wide by Halstead after a good build up. Slough force another corner which comes to nothing and then Goddard swings over a cross that's too high for everyone. 1-0

31: At the other end, Torquay get a three on two but Aaron Jarvis chooses the wrong option and the chance goes begging. They haven't had a lot of openings this afternoon but they caught out Slough's defence there. 1-0

30: Halstead again comes to Torquay's rescue. Getting down well to stop another effort from Minhas after the Slough striker had bullied his way through. 1-0

27日:Slough继续构成真正的威胁。戴维斯pings a ball outwide for Minhas to chase and he whips in a cross that Goddard volleys towards goal but Mark Halstead dives to his left to make the save. 1-0.

23: 20 minutes gone and Slough are deservedly ahead. The Gulls defence struggling to live with Minhas and Alexander who are running onto early balls over the top. It's route one stuff, but it's proving effective for the Rebels so far. 1-0

20: Substitution for the visitors. Not sure if this is tactical or because of an injury.

18: It could so easily be 2-0 with George Alexander hooking over after the Gulls struggled to clear their lines from a corner kick. Good spell for the home side this. Torquay just reeling a little. 1-0

16: GOAL! Wow. What a goal from Slough striker Nathan Minhas. The striker held off his marker and spun and scissor kicked the ball into the net after taking down Johnny Goddard's cross. Slough lead 1-0

12: As he was in their last home game. Munashe Sundire has been everywhere for Slough so far. An interesting clash of styles here with the Rebels probably just shading things. 0-0

Temi Eweka, who has made the permanent switch from Maidenhead United this season, has just made a solid interception and clearance. He performed well alongside Dan Bayliss in central defence last week and the Rebels will be hoping he can do something similar against Torquay this afternoon. 0-0

7: First real attempt comes from Slough. Sundire Munashe chances his arm from distance and the Gulls keeper saves. Minhas turns the rebound over the bar under pressure. Decent attempt from the hosts but it remains 0-0

5: Slough are looking for the early ball forward to George Alexander and the striker is a very willing runner. Torquay will have to watch out for that today. He scored three in the first half against Weston last weekend. As you might expect though, Torquay have seen much more of the ball and are dominating possession. 0-0

2: Fast start from both sides here. The Gulls force an early corner but the Rebels manage to break from it and Nathan Minhas outmuscles his marker to very nearly create an opening for the home side. 0-0

15.00: Torquay kick us underway at Arbour Park. Slough playing from right to left as you're looking from the main stand.

14.55: Here come the teams. Gulls fans making plenty of noise. Sure the Rebel army will respond in due course.

14.50: Moody skies above Arbour Park today. Sunshine and heavy showers in store I think. Not the best day to forget your coat. Slough Town's juniors are ready to welcome both sides out of the tunnel with big blue and yellow flags. Atmosphere is building nicely. Should be a good game between two very capable sides.

14.50: Here's the team news.

14.45: 15 minutes to kick off and players from both sides are finishing off their warm ups and heading inside for a last minute pep talk. There's a good crowd here today, boosted by a strong following from Torquay. After two victories on the spin, Gulls fans are perhaps starting to enjoy life in National League South. Or maybe they're just enjoying the chance to ground hop to a few new clubs.

Welcome to Arbour Park for this afternoon's clash between the Rebels and the Gulls. Former league club Torquay will be seen as a key scalp for Scott Davies's side having been relegated from the National League. Slough bounced back to form last weekend with a comprehensive 3-0 win at Weston-super-Mare having lost their opening three league games.
