An afternoon of seasonal fun awaits visitors to this year’s Farnhams’ Orchard Day on Saturday, September 30.

Held at The Dell, Farnham Common, the free-entry event is being organised by Burnham Beeches Rotary Club in celebration of the work that they did creating the Farnham Common Community Orchard twelve years ago.

There will be homemade cakes and refreshments and fun Autumn-inspired activities such as apple pressing for people to have a go at.

In the centre of the Orchard will be displays from various community groups offering yoga, maypole dancing and an interactive session with a Tai Chi instructor.

There’s lots more to see and experience such as forest crafts, a bee keeping demonstration, glitter tattoos, a Prosecco bar and lots of stalls to browse and buy from between 12 and 4pm.

Parking is available just down the road at Farnham Common First School.

Visitors keen to have a go at apple pressing are advised to bring their own apples.
