There are plans for several fabric awnings with logos to be erected by the Colonnade in Maidenhead, adjacent to the York Stream.
计划已经提交了一个替代boatyard workshop at Boulters Lock in this week’s public notices in addition to an application to display awnings at The Colonnade in Maidenhead.
Planning
Walsingham Planning has submitted an application on behalf of Peter Freebody and Co Ltd for a replacement boatyard workshop, resiting of jetty, new pathway, docks and slipway. The proposed new boathouse at Freebody’s Boatyard on Boulters Lock Island, will have a 1014sqm floorspace and include two new slipways.
One of the site’s boathouses was destroyed by a fire in 2018 and a previous application for the same description of work has previously been withdrawn.
As requested by RBWMs Ecology Officer in the withdrawn application, a condition securing full details of biodiversity enhancements has now been accepted.
The applicant has accepted any appropriate conditions to protect wildlife during the construction period.
A flood risk assessment had also been requested by the Environment Agency, demonstrating that there would be no loss of floodplain storage or impedance of flood flows.
Adjustments have been made to the new application to ensure it is flood compatible meaning no loss to current floodplain storage.
