Maidenhead United have slipped to the bottom of the National League table after the Magpies let slip a two-nil lead to lose 4-2 at Aldershot Town on Tuesday.

United haven’t won a league match since August 19, but that long run looked like it might be coming to an end when Chanka Zimba netted twice inside the opening 25 minutes.

However, the concession of two goals in the space of a couple of minutes before half-time put the outcome back in the balance.

游客玩不太严重的真理和哈d moments when they could have restored their advantage in the second half. But those chances weren’t taken, and late Shots were fired with the hosts scoring in the 81st and 96th minutes to complete a 4-2 victory.

The defeat leaves the Magpies propping up the rest of the National League heading into Saturday’s crucial looking home game with Eastleigh. Devonshire’s side are still only a couple of points from safety, but they’ll need to find form soon if they're to dig themselves out of a relegation battle this season.

The Magpies made a slow start to the game at the EBB Stadium, with the home side controlling possession without really testing Craig Ross’s goal.

但是在15 minut游客闯入生活e when some great interplay between Ashley Nathaniel-George and Reece Smith gave Zimba the simple job of tapping the ball into an empty net. Seven minutes later and the Magpies sliced through the Shots’ defence once more. This time on the counterattack they swept up field and Zimba was in the right place at the right time to score his second of the evening.

So far so good, but the game was still very open. Ryan Glover blazed over for the Shots in the 31st minute before Smith curled over as the Magpies threatened a third.

The Shots then showed their character with Jack Barham rising highest to head home Ollie Harfield’s corner in the 36th minute. The header appeared to be cleared off the line, but the assistant referee flagged to indicate it had crossed the line. The hosts then completed the comeback with a second in the 39th minute, Barham turning the ball home from close range from another Harfield assist. Again, the ball was hacked clear from underneath the crossbar only for the linesman to indicate he felt it had crossed the line.

Half-time gave supporters a much-needed breather, but the game continued at a frantic pace in the second period. James Golding received a yellow card for a foul on Barham in the 65th minute and Charlee Adams was also cautioned for dissent.

Nathaniel-George then forced a wonderful save from van Stappershoef in the 68th minute, a moment which turned the course of the match in Aldershot’s favour.

Having defended reasonably well throughout the second half, United fell behind in the 81st minute when Lorent Tolaj curled a beautiful shot beyond Ross. Dejan Tetek came close to a fourth with a shot that was cleared off the line in the 87th minute, but Tolaj wrapped things up in the 96th minute when he fired home his second from Barham’s cutback.
