Halloween events for all ages in Slough and Windsor this week

With Halloween just around the corner, here is a roundup of the events taking place in the area for kids and adults alike.

Black Park Country Park will host a ‘Spooktacular’ Halloween trail for half term (October 23 to 27).

Children can come dressed up and use a map to find the hidden characters in the woods. Collect your map and quiz sheet from outside the visitor centre. Some scenes may not be suitable for very young children.

A Halloween party at The Bee in Burnham takes place tomorrow (Friday) from 8pm until close. Entry is free and fancy dress is a must.

Burnham Youth Club will be hosting a Halloween party and fancy dress competition tomorrow (Friday). A fun night of Halloween games is planned and entry is £3.

Windsor Royal Station in Goswell Hill is hosting a pumpkin party which takes place on Saturday from 10.30am to 4pm featuring a pumpkin judging competition.

The Pineapple in Dorney is hosting a ‘Spooktacular’ party on Saturday October 28 from 1pm to 11.30pm – 1pm featuring fancy dress for adults, kids and dogs as well as discos and a carved pumpkin competition.

The Night Forest at Braywick Nature Centre is offering an after-dark experience for the whole family featuring pumpkin carving, campfire stories and a spooky walk through the Wild Wood.

Costumes are encouraged at a Halloween party which takes place at the Rajasthani Welfare Society Hall on Sunday, October 29 from 2pm to 5pm.

A sizzling new challenge is launching at Thames Hospice in Windsor Road, Bray, on Halloween (October 31).

A firewalk, which takes place from 6pm to 9pm will see participants brave the heat and walk across red-hot coals.

Training and guidance will be provided and the walk will take place in the Hospice gardens Walkers must be aged 14 years, tickets cost £25 and the minimum sponsorship is £100.
