Witness appeal after cyclist hit by van in Maidenhead and hospitalised

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was hospitalised in a crash in Maidenhead yesterday (October 27).

A white Peugeot Boxer van driver and cyclist were involved in the collision at the junction between Stafferton Link and Forlease Road at around 3pm.

The cyclist, a woman in her thirties, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough for further treatment, where she remains.

No arrests have been made.

Investigating officer PC Mark Zilles, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, whereby a woman has sustained serious injuries, to please come forward.
