Spooky, scary skeletons, ghouls and ghosts descended on primary schools this week for Halloween-themed fun.

Photographer Ian Longthorne caught the mischievous creatures up to their antics this week.

Among the events, ghastly creatures kicked up their heels in the school halls of Cookham Rise Primary School and Riverside Primary School & Nursery on Wednesday throughout the day.

‘Delighted’ Cookham Rise monsters from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 ‘had the chance to show off their latest dance moves and take part in games’, with their shindig having been organised by the Cookham Rise PTA.

Meanwhile, over in Riverside, all age groups from Nursery up to Year 6 enjoyed discos organised by its student council.

Pupils ran six different stalls and ‘music ambassadors’ decided on the playlist.

戴着面具,发胶和闪光,they enjoyed a photo booth, a lucky dip and musical statues.

Teacher Artemis Evmorfopoulos said the students had a ‘fantastic time’ and also raised money for a project of their choice to improve their outdoor play activities.
